BT Rolatruc RRB2 Reach truck 2008 display fault

Battery gauge doesn't work only the 2 red dots in between the time light up. It was intermittent at first now it is all the time. i have interchanged the display and A5 card with another truck and have replace wiring harness's and checked continuity from diplay back to A5 card. Display still doesn't work. Any help would be appriciated. I have spoken to BT technical guy and he doesn't seem to know what it is either. So i am hoping someone on here has had the same problem.

Like our mates told you, this problems generally comes from the three wires (think 70, 71, 72) of the charge battery level. If battery and wires is OK, replace A5 card

I found one case on a rrB6 series 16, that was neccesary to replace A5 logic card. Its very important the good state and tighten of negative thick wire that comes from batery to inverters. It's works like a shunt wire.

If you need any information, just ask for it.

Hi Leon, check the battery connector socket auxciliary connectors and wiring, these feed voltage and current from the battery for the A5, which in turn displays battery status on the dash. Guarantee it will be your problem, I have even seen that fault when the socket is not pushed fully home.............well I might be wrong but there is a pretty good chance this is the problem. cheers bobby
