Hi Mishek

Glad to hear you found a steering fault, there is no need to reset the controller, once the fault is repaired, the truck will run as normal.
Error 28 generally refers to the steering sensor at the steering wheel.

The sensor is located directly underneath the steering wheel.
With the steer motor seized the bottom pot would not move in time with the steering wheel movement.
The controller would then flag up a fault and would not allow the drive to function.
Hopefully when you fit the repaired motor, everything will return to normal, job done.

Hello John, hope you are well, sorry to trouble you, please can tell me where is the steering sensor situated on this machine, the steering motor was seized, i had that repaired and the potentiometer is situated aside the steering motor, i will test that soon i also like to know if there is a certain way of setting the pot meter, steering motor along with wheel direction position like timing, oh and one more thing please, is there any way that i can reset the controller or remove fault codes onboard, through a jumper on the controller or do I need a lap top, thank you so much.

Hi Mishek

You will not get any more info from the controller other than the fault message.
I suspect you have a steering fault, check steering pot and wiring.

Alarm traction 28 reads "Cable break steering sensor"
"Check cable connection; exchange steering wheel sensor; exchange Canion / Interface; exchange steering"

If the steering has a serious fault, the truck will not allow drive to operate.

Hope this helps you

Good luck
