There are monitoring devices on the market that can monitor the lift operation and give you a good idea of how the operator is driving the lift. This in turn translates into helping keep the operator driving in a safer manner and not driving careless and unsafely.
As for an app? Most companies that develop these devices now have app's that you can use to connect to these devices to get realtime data on each lift in your operation.
TotalTrax is one that comes to mind, they have many solutions available.
Keytroller, gforce and others are also available.
A google search for 'forklift monitoring device' will yield many different companies that can help you with this.
