Argus Neftetransport 2015

Azerbaijan, Baku - 21/05/2015 - 22/05/2015
Argus Neftetransport 2015 International conference Argus Neftetransport 2015 will be held on 21-22 May in Baku (Azerbaijan) by the market reporting agency Argus in cooperation with ISR Trans. During the forum we will discuss with market participants all the key aspects of crude and product shipment in FSU countries including the issues of railway, pipeline, marine and river transport as well as ports and terminals business.

We selected Baku as the site for such event for a good reason. Oil and oil products exporters from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are increasingly using transit through Russia and Russian shipping companies to reach international markets striving to diversify their delivery routes and partners.

The 4th Caspian Summit in Astrakhan in late September reflects the attention paid by Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Iran to the Caspian region. The leaders of these countries have made real progress towards determining the Caspian's legal status and borders and the final agreement is expected to be signed in two years in Kazakhstan.

Key topics

- What will be the impact of new pipeline projects in Russia and FSU countries on export flows?
- What will be the result of surplus in the tank cars market of Russia and Kazakhstan?
- What will be the tariff policy of the shipping market monopolies in 2015-2016?
- How expiration of exemptions from Marpol will impact river exports of products?
- What new infrastructural projects are to be implemented in Russia and Caspian basin?
