 MiMA articulated forklift |
China's MiMA has appointed manufacturer Wilmat as its agent in the United Kingdom as it plans to undercut rivals by as much as 30% with its articulated forklifts.
MiMA's range of electric handling trucks, tow tractors and specials, like die-handling trucks of up to 30 T lift capacity, will augment Wilmat's range in the UK and Ireland.
The MiMA products will be released in the second half of this year, with a 2,000 kg variant of its articulated forklift range selected for debut in two versions: a narrow-aisle version and a wider version for 2.1 m aisles. All models will be electric only, with lithium offered as an option. There is optional fingertip control with the hydraulic steering.
While the articulated MiMA trucks will be the flagship of Wilmat's new Chinese venture, its product profile will be greatly enhanced by other MiMA trucks, including reach, electric pallet trucks, stackers, tow tractors, counterbalance forklifts, order pickers, stand-on and seated man-down VNA trucks and sideloaders.
Wilmat is known for its bespoke materials handling equipment built at its production facility in Birmingham.
Its standard product range includes stacker trucks, counterbalance trucks and mobile cranes, augmented by bespoke products tailored to meet the needs of niche markets and individual customers.
