The United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA) says the fifth in the Warehousing Futures series of networking conferences and exhibitions will be at St John's Hotel, in Solihull, on 29-30 October.
The theme for Warehousing Futures 2012 is 'Success in Challenging Times'. Speakers include leading supply chain practitioners and senior 3PL and sector suppliers.
UKWA CEO Roger Williams says the event will showcase winning warehousing strategies, best practice and innovation.
"Despite the economic situation, there are a large number of successes to report and Warehousing Futures will give a platform for MDs and CEOs of major logistics service specialists, retailers and manufacturers to present their successes to an audience of logistics professionals."
The event follows a similar format to previous years with a networking dinner on 29 October, followed by a one-day conference.
A small exhibition featuring leading warehousing product and service suppliers will run alongside the conference.
The cost to attend Warehousing Futures 2012 as a full delegate -including a place at dinner, overnight accommodation at St John's Swallow Hotel and attendance to the full conference with lunch, coffee and a delegate information pack - is GBP240 (USD375) plus VAT. A day delegate package for conference and exhibition visitors costs GBP140 (USD219) plus VAT.
Special rates are available to UKWA members.
Warehousing Futures 2012 targets warehouse owners and managers, and logistics and operations directors who run their own warehouse or distribution centres.
