The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) will hold product liability and safety seminars at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel, in Nashville, Tennessee, in April.

A product safety seminar will run from April 16 to April 18 and a one-day product liability program will be on April 19.

Product safety issues involved in the design, manufacture and use of off-road equipment manufacturing professionals' products will be discussed at the three-day seminar.

The theme is Product Safety: Tune Up Your Program, a play on the seminar location, dubbed "Music City, USA". An AEM statement said the seminar content would help industry members fine-tune company product safety programs to ensure their components were effective and useful.

AEM's annual product safety seminar is open to full-time equipment manufacturers' employees and designated external service professionals.

"It is geared to beginners and experienced industry professionals and especially benefits small and medium-sized manufacturers with more limited internal resources," the statement said.

The product liability program will focus on the value of pre-trial planning. Dual seminar attendees receive a liability program discount.
