Materials handling parts stalwart TVH Parts Co is stepping up its US expansion, with the acquisition of Equipment Parts Wholesale, LLC (EPW), a Fresno, California supplier of parts and supplies for aerial lift equipment.

EPW will serve as a sales division of TVH and will continue to focus on the aerial lift equipment market and the equipment rental industry under the EPW brand. With the acquisition of EPW, TVH will increase its new product development and inventory offerings for this portion of the industrial equipment market.

Dirk von Holt, vice president at TVH, notes that "there was an opportunity to acquire the assets of EPW which aligns with the strategy of our company to increase our product selection to include other industrial equipment segments".

EPW was founded in 2001 and has become a respected supplier of replacement parts for aerial lift equipment.

TVH, a leading distributor of replacement parts and supplies for the materials handling and industrial equipment industry, recently announced plans to open a distribution centre in Miami, Florida in September.

Olathe-based TVH purchased a partially completed 68,000 sqft. (6,317 sqm) structure in late 2013 and contracted with Flagler Global Logistics to complete the construction to TVH specifications.

Founded in Belgium in 1969, TVH is represented throughout the world by over 3,900 employees, serving customers in over 172 countries in 32 languages. TVH Parts Co. represents TVH in the Americas with over 750 employees operating out of nine facilities.
