Terex Noell China signs up its largest RTG orders in a month.

Terex Noell China signed two major contracts in September, setting a company record.

It will supply 12 rubber-tyred gantry cranes (RTGs) to Libra Terminal Rio S/A in Brazil after signing a contract on 3 September. On 26 September, Terex signed contracts to supply 24 RTGs to Asya Port (TIL) in Turkey and another 12 units to Haiphong Port Holdings Ltd in Vietnam.

The total of 48 RTG units is the largest number of machines ever signed up in a month since the equipment manufacturer started producing the machines.

To date, Terex Noell China has been contracted to supply 95 RTG units and four ship-to-shore (STS) cranes.

The orders' value is not disclosed.

In August, Terex Noell signed a USD33 million order to supply machines, including RTGs and STS cranes to Meratus Lines, Indonesia (Forkliftaction.com News #632).
