Forklift manufacturer Taylor International has taken its Mexican operations in-house as part of "a new focus on the International markets for heavy industrial lift equipment".

A company statement says Taylor International and Taylor International de Mexico now fall under The Taylor Group of Companies.

"With this change, Taylor International will bring a new line of products to the world market and deliver a new emphasis on Taylor service, sales and support.

"Our aim is to take this new opportunity to a whole new level in customer support and service. We want to especially thank Doug and Adam Hulse for their intense support in the international market over the past years, and we wish them the best for the future," says Robert Taylor, president and COO of the Taylor Group of Companies.

Doug Hulse, former president of Taylor International, stated, "It's been a fantastic career working with the Taylor family and the Taylor Big Red team! Starting in 1983, the people that we've met and the countries that we worked in while developing sales channels and distribution around the world have been quite the journey for the Taylor International team."

"I am very excited about Taylor International and Taylor de Mexico coming under the umbrella of The Taylor Group of Companies," says Hal Nowell, director of sales. "Taylor is inheriting a group of materials handling specialists that are second to none. I look forward to working with this group to continue to grow the international market and better serve our customers in the marketplace," said Nowell.

For over 90 years, Taylor has been engineering and building heavy industrial lift trucks.
