Narrow Aisle Flexi - manufacturer of the Flexi range of articulated forklift trucks - has won a contract to supply Flexi EURO trucks to the Leipzig factory of leading automotive components supplier Magna Intier. The new facility provides the complete interior trim for the newly launched Porsche Panamera, the elegant four door sports car. Magna Intier, who provide component parts and other services to a wide range of top-end car manufacturers, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Aston Martin, are using the Flexi trucks to delivery components from an on-site storage warehouse directly to the production line.

Additional roles within this position included the development of international business segments, customer service, training and inside sales disciplines.

Known to many in the Nissan Forklift family as the company cheerleader for his unending devotion to growing the Nissan brand for nearly 20 years, Mr. Nick Tortorich will be retiring from his post as Vice President, Sales and Marketing on October 30th, 2009. In 1968, Nick's passion for sales led him to begin a career in the material handling industry, landing him two consecutive jobs with Chicago forklift dealerships that spanned nearly a quarter century. In 1992, Nick joined the Nissan team - then known as Nissan Industrial Equipment Corporation (NIEC) - as General Sales Manager in its Schaumburg, Illinois office. Just one year later, he was promoted to Director of National Sales and transferred to his new position in Nissan Forklift Corporation's Marengo facility. Nissan Forklift congratulates Nick Tortorich on his well-earned retirement. His significant contributions, positive attitude and friendship will be missed.
