Holland Lift HL-275 |
Aerial work platform and telehandler rental specialist Riwal has expanded its fleet with electric and hybrid-powered scissor lifts from Holland Lift.
In addition to investing in standard Holland Lift models, Riwal has purchased the new hybrid HL-275 H25 scissor lift, which has a working height of 27 meters. This machine was named Product of the Year in the self-propelled category at the 2015 International Awards for Powered Access.
Riwal has also added the Megastar HL-340 E30, the world's tallest electric scissor lift with a working height of 34 meters and a lifting capacity of 1,000 kg, to its rental fleet.
Søren Rosenkrands, Riwal's COO, comments: "This investment underlines our commitment to provide our customers with a range of sustainable alternatives to diesel-powered machines. Not only do we provide a broad range of equipment to suit any job, we also meet the customer demand for environmentally friendly machines."
Eline Oudenbroek, managing director of Holland Lift, adds: "The market demands sustainable access equipment for inside and outside use with zero emissions in order to ensure maximum flexibility and return on investment without compromising performance. With the HL-340 E30 and the HL-275 H25, Riwal has made a sustainable decision for the future."
The latest additions to the range follow an
announcement in March that Riwal will invest EUR80 million (USD87 million) in its rental fleet this year. This is double the company's 2014 capital expenditure budget.
The Riwal Holding Group, established in 1968 and headquartered in The Netherlands, is an international rental specialist of aerial work platforms, telehandlers and power generators. Riwal employs over 1,200 people in its operations in 18 countries on four continents.
