The Rental Show has made the list of the largest trade shows held in the United States last year. Held in Orlando, the show had more than 675 exhibitors, and exhibit space was sold out for the event.
Trade Show Executive magazine named The Rental Show among the fastest-growing trade shows in the United States during 2014. The event was recognised for both the number of exhibitors and the size of the exhibition in the ranking just released.
This year's staging in February
(Forkliftaction.com News #706) looks set to keep the event on the list, with more than 675 exhibitors once more.
The Rental Show 2015, the American Rental Association's 59th annual convention and trade show for the equipment rental industry, had more than 80 companies making their initial appearance exhibiting at the event.
ARA again sold out the trade show floor in New Orleans long before the show, with vendors of forklifts, construction/industrial equipment, general tool/homeowner equipment and party/special event equipment chasing space on the floor.
The growth of the show reflects the health of the equipment rental industry and the influence of ARA, based in Moline, Illinois, which represents owners of equipment rental operations and manufacturers and suppliers of rental equipment. Current membership includes more than 9,100 rental operations and nearly 1,000 manufacturers and suppliers.
