The Chinook fork plow
The Chinook fork plow
Company turns forklifts to snow plough
Canterbury, NH, United States

A forklift can now be turned into an agile snowploughing machine thanks to CP Innovations LLC.
The web-based company originally came up with Chinook fork plows to deal with the snow in its own yard but has since developed the product for the market. It offers two Chinook fork plow options - a Manual Angle model operated from the cab and a Power Angle model that uses side shifter hydraulics to activate the plow blade. Either model slips simply onto most forklifts' tynes, turning them into forklift snowplows.
The product features a seven foot plow blade that is expandable to almost nine feet.
CP Innovations owner Chip Phinney says his product's ability has surprised many people.
