Profit for Chinese truck maker

Anhui Heli Co Ltd achieved a net profit of CNY388 million (USD63.7 million) from January to September 2013, an increase of 45% from the same period last year.
According to the China Business Newswire, the company's operating revenue grew 9.8% year-on-year to CNY4.97 billion (USD816 million).

Forklifts helps meet Halloween rush

Europe's largest pumpkin grower, David Bowman, has hired a fleet of Jungheinrich counterbalance forklifts to cope with its busiest period this northern Autumn.
The electric forklifts, which are onsite for two months, were used to transfer crates of harvested and washed pumpkins from the trailers that bring them in from the field to Bowman's 120,000 sqft. (11,148 sqm) store and 'pack house'. The crop had to be packed and delivered to the shelves of David Bowman's retail clients in time for Halloween.
The company grows two million pumpkins annually, which it sells to UK supermarkets as well as other suppliers in Europe.

Pyroban demonstrated its explosion-proof solutions at the Transport and Logistics Antwerp 2013 Expo in Belgium this month.
"Superior safety is critical where the explosion risks are high for industries such as chemical, coatings, food, drink, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, bottled gas and logistics, many of which are located in Antwerp," says Matthew Shirkie, Pyroban's head of industrial division.
The event was targeted at companies working in and around the port of Antwerp.

Expo yields results for UN

UN Forklift participated in the 114th Autumn Canton fair from 15-19 October.
Regular customers visited the stand to discuss business and transactions were concluded on the spot, the Hangzhou manufacturer reports.
UN Forklift also says its expo participation attracted new customers who plan to visit its factory at the Xindeng Industrial Park in Hangzhou. It will exhibit again next year.
