Plant Hire UK Ltd has invested in 250 new JCB models, including Loadall telescopic forklifts, this year.
Supplied by dealer Gunn JCB, Plant Hire UK's order of 230 JCB Loadalls includes compact models and 540-170 models with a lift capacity of 4.0 tonnes (8,819lbs) and a maximum lift height of 16.7 metres (54.8 feet). Plant Hire UK also ordered 12 JCB Vibromax tandem vibratory rollers, four JCB Micro excavators, three JCB 2CX Airmaster backhoe loaders and a JCB VMT850 double drum vibratory compactor.
The value of the order is confidential.
The recent telehandlers that were delivered incorporate JCB's Adaptive Load Control to ensure the machines comply with the new European regulation EN 15000. The legislation was introduced to reduce the risk of forward overturning of a variable reach truck performing stationary loading or placing operations on stable and level ground

Plant Hire UK managing director Graham Jones says the latest orders mark a huge milestone in the two companies' relationship. "We have used JCB telehandlers since we started because they are high quality, easy to operate, reliable and the back-up and parts availability are second to none."
The company has purchased a total of 500 JCB Loadalls since it was established five years ago. It continuously, updates its fleet to ensure its customers have the latest equipment, with no machine over two years' old.
"Customers like the brand and our engineers know the products well. The sheer volume and variety of equipment we have taken from JCB reflects our continued and ambitious growth," Jones says.
