The chance to win an 'Archie' awaits those who invest a few minutes in entering for the FLTA Awards for Excellence.
There are a few more weeks for forklift companies to enter their products or services for the Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA)'s Awards for Excellence 2008.

Qualifying products or services need to be on the UK market or to have appeared in a public exhibition between 1 October 2006 and 28 September 2007. The closing date for entries is 28 September 2007.

FLTA's chief executive, David Ellison, says nomination forms are simple and user-friendly for time-poor entrants.

"We believe our shortlist of finals should be based on the merits of the products and services, not on the entrants' capacity for filling in forms."

Entrants have to write a summary of the product and its function/s in no more than 100 words.

Selected finalists will feature in materials handling magazines before and after the winners are announced.

Ellison encourages forklift companies to exploit the free publicity by entering their products and services.

"Whether you win or not, your success in being chosen as a finalist is something you can continue to highlight in your own publicity materials, with the help of an 'Awards Finalist' logo that we will provide."

For nomination forms, email mail@fork-truck.org.uk or call FLTA on +44 01256 381441.
