Logistics company Fullforce is now a part of Palletforce.

A West Midlands logistics company has become a shareholder member of the UK's leading palletised distribution network, Palletforce.

Coventry-based FullForce sees the move as the "next logical step" in its continued success and, as a member of Palletforce, it will now be part of a network of 100 depots belonging to the country's top transport companies.

FullForce will also have access to the facilities at the network's GBP30 million (USD47.8 million) central hub in Burton-upon-Trent.

Director Steve Coleman says he has worked with many of the Palletforce management team and understands the way the company works. "The services they offer to the industry have always been very strong. As a former competitor, we have always had the greatest respect for what they do."

FullForce was established in 1988 by two entrepreneurs responding to the need for a dedicated same-day delivery service in the Midlands region. Since then, the company has expanded to an international operation with services including import/export, warehousing, pick and pack, dedicated specialist delivery, UK pallet services, Europe-wide road services and worldwide distribution.

Palletforce CEO Michael Conroy says his company is excited about the experience and expertise FullForce will bring to the network. "We only invite the best companies to join our network and we are confident FullForce will fit in perfectly."

Palletforce, founded in 2001, offers express delivery service for small consignments of palletised freight. It has grown to become the UK's leading distribution network, supplying a range of express distribution services in the UK, Ireland and Europe. It recently invested over GBP1 million (USD1,590,341) to upgrade its forklift fleet to boost efficiency at its central hub that was opened last year (Forkliftaction.com News #482).
