JLG wins multi-million dollar contract

JLG Industries Inc has received two orders worth about USD51 million from the US Army to build 311 ATLAS II telescopic forklifts.
The first shipments of these products are slated to support US Army logistics in Afghanistan.
The forklifts can reach over obstacles to place loads weighing up to 10,000lbs (4,536kg) into trucks or shipping containers.

Cargotec's hits F-series milestone

Cargotec has handed the keys of its 2,000th Kalmar DRF reach stacker assembled at its Lidhult plant to Kleinwort GmbH, a long-time customer of Kalmar counterbalance equipment.
Since starting production, Cargotec has delivered over 6,000 Kalmar reach stackers to international customers operating at port, railway, inland and other transport terminals.
Mikael Persson, Cargotec's VP for reach stackers, says the F-series reach stacker has proven to be "the most innovative workhorse" on the market.

Clark expands product line

Clark Material Handling Company has expanded its pallet jack line to include capacities ranging from 2,200 to 10,000lbs, custom widths from 16" to over 43" and custom fork lengths from 23" to 96".
Galvanised and stainless steel jacks are also available for pharmaceutical or food industry applications.
Straddle jacks, high rise scissor jacks, low profile jacks and weigh scale jacks are also included in the product line.

The Edmolift lift tables can be used for the transportation of various materials. They complete TVH Handling's existing range of manual and electric lift tables.

Jayline unveils load protectors

Jayline Products has launched a product to prevent damage caused to palletised loads by forklifts.
The load protecters are made from heavy-duty moulded rubber and are designed to fit the rear of a forklift's tynes to absorb the impact of an incoming load.
They are available in different sizes and are fitted using a strapping system.
