Toyota Industrial Equipment (Northern) Ltd has won a contract to supply 17 forklifts to Akcros Chemicals in Eccles, Manchester.
The value of the contract has not been released.
Akcros Chemicals is part of Akzo Nobel's Business Unit Functional Chemicals, a world leader in additives for manufacturing and processing PVC.
Toyota Northern sales and marketing director Terry Stephens said Toyota trainers would work with forklift drivers at Akcros.
"We're delighted to be supplying Akcros Chemicals with a fleet of forklifts which features the very latest technology from the new, world-beating Generation 7 range," he said.
The contracted fleet includes the engine-powered 7FDF 25, the three-wheeled electric 5FBE 15, and the 7FBRE 16 reach truck.
"All the forklifts were fitted with fleet management systems to report to management information such as which operators are using which forklifts, and running times," Mr Stephens said.
