The date for the Industrial Truck Association's (ITA) next meeting has been announced.

The ITA's spring meeting will be held from March 30 to April 1 at The Madison Hotel, Washington, D.C.

ITA members will spend three days establishing goals in order to lead the industry in the right direction.

This year's schedule will start with the suppliers' committee meeting on the Monday and will be followed by three subcommittee meetings.

A special reception has been organised for Monday evening to honour associate members.

Stan Simpson, ITA president, will deliver the "State of the Association" message on the Wednesday.

The Propane Energy Research Council (PERC) has announced it will sponsor Tuesday night's reception.

Brian Feehan, PERC's president, says this is the ninth year PERC has supported ITA activities at meetings. "Our sponsorship is in recognition of our commonality of interests in serving a substantial portion of the forklift market.

"Everyone at PERC is grateful to ITA for its continuing efforts to help solve the common problems affecting our industries."
