A forklift has badly damaged a support stanchion at Brixham harbour's busy fish storage area.
Support props have been placed under an office to support the existing column, damaged when clipped by the passing forklift, a Herald Express report said.
Heavy rain had caused cracks in the stanchion to widen, and sturdier props originally used repairing a car park were put in place as a precaution.
