Nissan Forklift introduces its enhanced line of AC-powered Platinum Walkie/Rider Pallet Trucks - designed with standard components that can withstand harsh cold storage conditions. Its sealed switches and logic boards allow these pallet trucks to easily handle dramatic temperature variations and the resulting condensation on trucks and components - while providing efficient operation in wet, cold and freezer applications. And because the RPX Series transitions easily from trailer to dock to cold storage conditions with ease (down to -20ºF/-28.9ºC) - all without the need for thermostats or heaters - Nissan's line of walkie and new AC-powered walkie/rider pallet trucks are ideal for operations with diverse applications. This kind of versatility translates into exceptional value for the customer. Additionally, its advanced AC power technology reduces maintenance and heat issues, while increasing performance and overall battery life.

The RPX Platinum Pallet Rider Truck features a 5.2 horsepower, brushless AC drive motor that also eliminates the commutator, reducing maintenance requirements and lowering the cost of ownership. A separately excited electronic AC inverter/motor controller with proportional plugging delivers both fast travel speeds and smooth, precise stops and directional changes.

Designed with operator input, the RPX Series features a compact hood and spacious platform area for greater foot- and leg-room. Large, light-touch switches located on both the RPX's wide, ergonomic control head and soft grip grab bar, offer generous room for the operator - even with work gloves - enabling enhanced comfort and control during operation. Optional Sidetracker and Coast Control features allow the operator to work with greater efficiency, and its spring-loaded handle provides simple, effortless movement into the operating range.

Available in 6,000-lb. and 8,000-lb. capacities, the entire line of rugged Platinum Pallet Walkie/Rider Trucks provides a perfect blend of performance, longevity and low cost of ownership.
