Hoist and YCOA complete multi-forklift deal
BEDFORD PARK, IL, United StatesPrivate yacht club developer Yacht Clubs of America (YCOA) has ordered six Neptune Series marina forklifts from Hoist Liftruck.
The 24,000lb to 52,000lb (10.9t to 23.6t) forklifts have been ordered for Key West Harbour Yacht Club, Naples Harbour Yacht Club, Tampa Harbour Yacht Club and Fort George Harbour Yacht Club.
Standard features of the forklift series include intuitive electronic joystick controls, air-ride seat, Cummins QSB engine, Dana 32,000 automatic transmission, easy-access flip-open hoods and corrosion protection.
The contract value was not disclosed.
YCOA of Fort Myers, Florida acquires and develops marina properties and converts them into private membership yacht clubs where members can own slip and storage units for boats.

Another 10 RTGs for Malta Freeport
HYVINKÄÄ, FinlandMalta Freeport Terminals has signed an agreement to order 10 RTGs from Konecranes.
On 31 May, Konecranes announced a rubber-tyred-gantry (RTG) order for Malta Freeport that included an option for an additional 10 machines. Malta Freeport has now taken up the option.
The eight-wheel RTGs with a lifting capacity of 59 tons (130,072.7lb) and twin-lift capabilities can stack one-over-five containers high and six-plus-truck lane wide.
Deliveries will start in the second quarter of 2008.
