US Heli distributor Southwest Equipment Sales has been appointed master distributor for Spanish rough-terrain forklift Mast Explorer in all US states west of the Mississippi River.

Manufactured by Mecano Continental, the forklift comes in capacities ranging from 4,000lbs to 11,000lbs (1,814.4kg to 4,989.5kg), features Perkins engines and hydrostatic transmissions.

Southwest also distributes the truck-mounted forklift Donkey, ranging from 2,000lb to 5,000lb (907.2kg to 2,268kg) capacities.

Design Storage & Handling Inc, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, the North American distributor for Hubtex four-way sideloaders, Bullseye diesel and LPG sideloaders, and Ranger rough-terrain forklifts, has been named Mast Explorer's master distributor for all US states east of the Mississippi River.

Separately, Southwest said in a statement to Forkliftaction.com News that it was working with Heli Americas to find more Heli dealers in the US.
