Customers are no longer satisfied to have products merely stacked, or crudely dumped, at the road's edge by boom crane or roll-off trucks. They know that all materials delivered in this manner, even when not damaged, will have to be moved again by the site manager to wherever they ultimately will be used. To satisfy this added demand, while still remaining cost efficient and profitable, today's building material suppliers need the added delivery capability of: [1] loading and delivering multiple jobs on a single truck to reduce load-splitting, [2] spot-positioning or relocating materials throughout site, [3] and convenient retrieval of some delivered materials, if needed. To provide these and other added capabilities to the Building Materials Industry, Princeton Delivery Systems, Inc. now offers three, specifically designed PiggyBack® Delivery Systems models...their PB70, PBX, and unique "4-Way" models. Each of these rough terrain units has a proven ability to deliver a wide range of building materials over typical site terrain. This ability comes from both to their own, unique performance capabilities and the exceptional stability and reliability engineered into all PiggyBack models.

The Powerful PiggyBack PB70

Princeton's newest addition to this special line is their extremely powerful, 7,000 lb capacity PiggyBack PB70...the true powerhouse of truck-mountable forklifts. But more important to owners and operators, this agile, high-capacity PB70 is also extremely easy to operate. All systems are designed to provide maximum work efficiency and safety. Nothing's complicated. The PiggyBack's simple Easy-Hitch® System, for example, routinely permits complete mounting and is mounting in...Less than one minute. The PB70 uses full-time three-wheel drive, flotation tires, front stabilizers and other features to unload and deliver heavy loads across rough ground. To this, the PB70 adds an extended frame, heavy-duty mast and tires, and a powerful 62 hp CAT® turbo-Diesel engine backed by a strong CAT warranty and service network. PB70 options include: masts ranging in lift height from 7 to 12 ft., extra length forks (up to 9 ft.), and hydraulic fork positioners to facilitate carrying wall panels or other special loads. Load support arms, which swing into position to provide additional support to the load as the machine manoeuvres rough terrain, also can be fitted to the unit.

The Single-Side Unloading...PBX

Now, off-load and deliver your entire load from just one-side of your truck or trailer with the new PiggyBack® PBX Rough-Terrain Delivery System. The powerful, truck-mounted, PBX model with its "SOLO" (single-side, off-loading operation) capability, has an across-the-truck capacity of 5000 lb. and offers many standard features. The PBX is the second generation of double reach machines from Princeton. It provides the many advantages of one side off-loading, including: [1] significant reductions in typical delivery time and costs, [2] Minimizing overall transport vehicle wear, and [3] permitting easier delivery at sites that are congested or heavily obstructed. Standard features and options including: 86", 120" or 144" two stage masts; S.O.L.O. scissors reach mechanism with 77" forward reach; Trac-Loc drive control; anti-stall hydraulic drive system; overhead weather shield; load support arms; deluxe steering wheel & seat package; seatbelt safety interlock; automatic tilt-relief; choice of tires; cold weather kit.; and a Tier II 52 or 62 Hp. (Turbo) CAT® Diesel backed by CAT warranty and service network.

The Unique...PiggyBack "4-Way"
Princeton's unique Piggy Back
Princeton's unique Piggy Back "4-Way" model manoeuvring extra long load.
For delivering extra long loads in those hard to negotiate, highly congested areas commonly found at most construction job sites, nothing can out manoeuvre or outperform Princeton's totally unique PiggyBack "4-Way" Truck-Mountable Delivery System. Specifically designed to move long loads through tight spots, the "4-Way" is literally two machines-in one. In the "normal" direction mode, the unit has all wheels inline with the forks and steering is done with the rear wheel. But, when shifted into the "side" direction mode, the unique hydraulic system of the "4-Way" pivots the front and rear wheels 90 degrees and simultaneously makes the front wheels the steering wheels. In this mode, the operator now can move the load forward or backward by driving the unit "sideways" in the direction of the load. The "4-Way" is designed to handle all types of long loads such as engineered wood, siding, or long loads of lumber with exceptional stability. With its standard 63 hp turbo-diesel engine, three-wheel drive, and large off-road tires...the 5000 lb. capacity "4-Way" is capable of operating on the roughest terrain. Hydraulically actuated Load Support Arms swing down to provide additional support of long loads.
