Chinese automation and sorting robot specialists LiBiao Robotics has established its presence in the United States with the opening of an office in Hillsborough Township, New Jersey.

The site will function as a central node for sales, technical support, and collaborative research and development in North America.

The Hillsborough area has strong logistics infrastructure, multinationals such as Amazon and Henkel have sites there, and it is home to Princeton University.

LiBiao says the new site “marks a decisive move in the company's global expansion strategy, enhancing its capabilities to serve the North American market”.

LiBiao recently opened an office in Singapore as it looks to expand its global footprint.

LiBiao CEO, Huiling Xia, speaking at the opening of the New Jersey site, explains the company first entered the US market eight years ago when its partner Tompkins introduced the T-Sort automation system, with more than 100 T-Sort projects now deployed in the country.

“Opening this office is our long-term pledge to get closer to our customers, understand their needs directly, and ensure we provide unparalleled service and support,” Xia explains.

LiBiao Robotics was founded in 2016 and has deployed more than 60,000 robots globally.
