Our thoughts go out to the victims of tornadoes that have ripped through the United States and to their families.
At last count, around 90 people have lost their lives across five states as tornadoes hit multiple United States communities in the South and Midwest.
There have been huge property losses, and the destruction of an Amazon warehouse in Edwardsville, Illinois has been widely publicised.
Amid all this destruction, it is heartening to see the logistics and materials handling community rally behind rescue and support efforts and, once again, the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) has mobilised its resources to help.
In our news this week, we detail the efforts of the association and explain how you can help.
