This week, we report on another forklift rodeo. These events, while entertaining and fun, are important contributors to forklift safety.
They recognise skill and concentration, but they also act as important motivators. Most contests on which we report are the culmination of intense competition to qualify - first in the workplace and then in various semi-final events, each of which reinforces the safety message.
While we generally name the winners and runners-up, there are many untold winners - all those who benefit from the safety culture which the contests highlight.
So, well done to the winners and the organisers of all of these events. You should feel proud of what you are doing for safety in the workplace.
And finally, happy Thanksgiving to our readers in America and Canada!
