Aerial work platforms (AWPs) are clearly on the rise, and as we read this week, rental activity is running hot.
For the first time, the global rental fleet now accounts for more than a million units, with almost half of them in the USA.
Meanwhile, lower margins for AWPs have impacted on one of the biggest North American producers, Terex, but the company remains bullish about the future, buoyed by a strong order backlog and an expectation of higher margins.
