The economic indicators are looking up this week, with a key trade measure showing a rebound after two months of decline. The Dutch Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis is reporting a 2.2% rise in global trade for last month.
According to the report, Asia has been the biggest contributor, with both imports and exports up more than 5% from the previous month.
The financial press is reporting that this key indicator is consistent with other measures, among them the OECD's finding that the global economy expanded by almost 1% in the second quarter of the year.
