Our report last week about a Spanish team taking out the Stapler Cup to claim world dominance in forklift performance has ruffled a few feathers across the Atlantic. It seems organisers of some of the US forklift rodeos are not prepared to accept the "world champion" title bestowed in Europe and are calling for a true global contest. Readers may remember that Dick Higgins, the force behind the US Open Forklift Rodeo was working on attracting more international competitors to his Springfield event before his untimely demise. The idea is still a good one, and the gauntlet has now been thrown down: let's see if any group or individual is able to pick up where the process left off. We at Forkliftaction.com would be more than happy to promote the event and help in any way. Any offers?

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
