It seems that the UK market is bouncing back, with orders growing 20% last year. Even more impressive are some specific market sectors - powered pallet trucks growing 50% and counterbalance trucks rising 26%. This is obviously beneficial for some manufacturers, distributors and dealers, while others are a little less buoyed, and again highlights the importance of diversification.
Also this week, we read that the number of loss-making forklift businesses is falling. That's a positive sign for everyone as business failures affect the whole supply chain.
