It could be the lull before the storm. Things seem particularly quiet in the industry at the moment, with even the attention-hungry "big boys" noticeably subdued. It could be that some are keeping their heads down in anticipation of the US financial reporting season, that others may still be in recovery mode and don't want to rock the boat - or that they're relieved to have survived the crisis and are happy to just be in business. The good news is that there's not much bad news around - and it looks like we're in "steady-as-she-goes" mode. Let's hope there are no surprises ahead...
