Jungheinrich wins Design Awards
Frankfurt, Germany

Jungheinrich has celebrated five German Design Awards. The company picked up a gold award in the 2019 industry category, with its ETV 216i reach truck. The company's EJE 116 electric pallet truck was also recognised, while a Special Mention was given to the new Jungheinrich Intranet.
Every year, the German Design Council presents the German Design Award to outstanding products and pioneering projects that significantly contribute to the international design landscape.
Michael Niebuhr, Jungheinrich head of industrial design, is "proud that Jungheinrich's innovative design approach was rewarded with a total of five awards in 2019.
"This is a great result that motivates us to continue our visionary thinking and to stay open to new technologies and design trends. For us, design is about more than mere product appearance. It is the face of our company, a key component of our success and a visual expression of quality and innovation."

BOLD new move
Salt Lake City, UT, United States

Ryan Peck, a well-known figure in the materials handling industry, has launched BOLD, a specialist firm that offers customised inspection services for distributors, integrators, manufacturers and end-users.
After more than 17 years in the industry, Peck started this new venture after noticing a need for modernising processes in an industry with constantly changing safety standards and shorter completion times.
"BOLD will deliver streamlined processes, incorporate new technology and deliver inspection services to our customer base with integrity," he says.
