Alta will integrate YES customers and services

Alta Equipment Company has acquired the assets of YES Equipment & Services in Illinois, resulting in Alta becoming an authorised Yale dealer in the state.

Alta will integrate YES customers and services into its current operations as it looks to expand and grow its footprint in the Chicago metropolitan market.

Adding the Yale line to our existing product portfolio will bolster our position in the warehousing segment of the market," says Ryan Greenawalt, president of Alta. "This is especially important as the Chicagoland market is one of the fastest growing areas for logistics and warehousing. Alta will now be able to leverage the strength of their product lineup and roll out a consistent strategy in all the markets we serve."

Headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, Alta is an industrial and construction equipment company.

The Alta team includes over 750 people at 20 facilities throughout Michigan, Indiana and Illinois. Alta's Industrial Equipment Group represents brands such as Yale and Hyster, Manitou and Combilift, in addition to an extensive line of warehouse products and solutions.

YES Equipment & Services, located in Menomonee Falls, Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, supplies and services new and used forklifts, aerial work platforms and other materials handling equipment.
