Last week's report
Yale Materials Handling Corporation has added Papé Material Handling to its dealer network following the group's acquisition of a rival in Northern California.

Papé Material Handling, part of Eugene-based Papé Group, Inc., is now the authorised and exclusive dealer of Yale lift trucks, parts and service in Northern California. It currently provides sales, rental, finance, parts and service for the materials handling and warehousing industries throughout eight western states.

"We're happy to extend our Yale territories and keep our new and current customers' businesses moving through consistent, quality customer service that maximises their uptime," says Chris Wetle, president of Papé Material Handling.

"We are excited that Papé Material Handling is now the authorised Yale dealer in Northern California, and are extremely confident in their commitment and capabilities," says Bob Sattler, vice president of dealer development, Yale Materials Handling Corporation. "Their dedication to excellence and record of performance in the materials handling industry should quickly translate into success. This expansion is an example of how our network of valued and experienced independent dealers keeps getting stronger - an invaluable resource for Yale customers to get what they need, when they need it."

Papé is the authorised dealer for Hyster, Yale, UTILEV, Trackmobile, Hawker and Crown and a retailer for Genie, Skyjack, V. Mariotti, CombiLift, Load Lifter, JLG, and Doosan.

Last week, we reported that Papé Material Handling had acquired the assets of six Pacific Material Handling Solutions' Yale forklift dealerships in Northern California including those in Modesto, Sacramento, Salinas, Stockton and Union City.

The Yale lines will be available at existing Papé Material Handling locations in Northern California and there's no indication of what will happen to the PMHS staff.
