German access and telehandler rental company Möller Manlift has acquired the forklift rental division of Kaufmann Flurfördertechnik.

The acquired equipment will be available from Möller's four locations in Würzburg, Schweinfurt, Bad Kissingen and Fulda.

Announcing the acquisition to customers, Kaufmann Flurfördertechnik confirms its forklift rental operations were transferred to Möller Manlift on January 1.

Director Peter Kaufmann tells customers that Möller Manlift "is a strong service provider which has many years of experience in the areas of rental, sales, maintenance and repair work on platforms and forklifts".

"As a customer, you now also benefit from this extended range of services," he adds.

Chief executive Andreas Möller says his company has taken over a fleet of around 45 machines from various leading manufacturers. "We are pleased about the extension of the service offer, not only in terms of forklift rental, but also in the areas of trade and service," he says.

Möller Manlift runs a fleet of booms, scissors, trailer lifts, truck mounts, spider lifts and telehandlers.

Details of the financial arrangement were not disclosed.
