Wittenförden-based crane service provider Urban has taken delivery of a Demag AC 100-4L, adding to a fleet made up exclusively of Terex and Demag products.
Technical director Enrico Schwarz explains his company's preference for the cranes from the Zweibrücken manufacturer: "The quality of Demag cranes is reflected in every single detail of their design and engineering. In fact, you can see that right away when you realise that Demag paints all individual parts before assembly instead of waiting until they are all put together."
The new AC 100-4L, which comes with a backup camera, won the crane service provider over with its combination of a compact design and a long main boom.
"This makes the crane an extremely versatile unit that we can use for a very broad range of jobs, including industrial assembly and infrastructure projects," explains Schwarz, who not only values the quality of Demag cranes, but also his company's long-standing excellent relationship with the manufacturer's sales and service staff and the excellent support they provide.
For over 27 years, Detlef Urban GmbH has offered its customers a comprehensive range of services consisting of crane work, transportation services, and confined-space work in existing ground floors. The company has locations in Wittenförden and Wismar.
The company has a strong reputation for assembly and erection work in steel, concrete and timber construction; plant building; water engineering; and food technology projects
