This week, we report on a couple of dealer appointments. Such announcements are regular features of our newsletters and they represent an important source of information.
Not only are these news items of interest to end-users who learn where they can buy equipment in their local markets, they also reflect which brands are growing and shrinking.
And they are a barometer of dealer success. When a multi-brand dealer adds a new line, it generally reflects growth - or at least adaptation to changing market conditions. Often, landing a new brand means new jobs and sometimes even expanded facilities. So these are good news stories all round.
