Aerial work platform and telehandler rental specialist Riwal has expanded in Europe by opening new depots in Belgium, Denmark and Sweden.
Antwerp is the second-largest city in Belgium and home to one of the largest ports in Europe. Opening the new depot in Antwerp is in line with Riwal's expansion strategy and will allow it to service its Belgian customers more effectively. This depot will mainly focus on the north-western area of Belgium and the regions surrounding the Antwerp harbour.
In Denmark, Riwal has chosen to locate its depot in Esbjerg in the far west of the country. As there are depots in the four largest cities already, Esbjerg, the fifth-largest city, was the logical choice to open a new depot. Along with extending its operational reach for existing customers, the new Esbjerg depot also offers Riwal an opportunity to bring working at height solutions to new customers in the area.
With one depot already operating in Malmö, Riwal has opened its second depot in Sweden in Gothenburg, the second-largest city. Gothenburg is growing rapidly, reflected by the developments in infrastructure with the construction of several tunnels and bridges, and also in the establishment of apartments and a new hospital. Riwal will be able to better service existing customers and also reach out to new customers throughout the entire west coast from Malmö to Gothenburg.
Norty Turner, Riwal's CEO, comments: "With our depot expansion in Europe, we will reach out even further to bring access solutions to both existing as well as new customers, allowing them to complete their projects safely and efficiently. By having the right people and equipment close by, we can increase our response time and support our vision to deliver the best customer experience in the industry."
