Hoist will manufacture for Toyota

Hoist Liftruck, a manufacturer of high-capacity materials handling equipment, has entered into an exclusive agreement with Toyota Material Handling USA (TMHU) to manufacture pneumatic tyre forklifts under a private label agreement.

Hoist Liftruck will manufacture to TMHU's specifications, producing pneumatic tyre products ranging from 22,000 lb. (10,000 kg) to 72,000 lb. (32,000 kg) in capacity under a private label agreement. The first orders are expected to be delivered later this year.

Hoist Liftruck, which recently announced its pending manufacturing expansion into a 550,000 sqft. (51,000 sqm) building in East Chicago, has experienced an influx of activity and business over the past few years, thanks to strategic positioning in the marketplace, continuing growth of the economy and booming industries.
