Civic officials and Fairchild leadership at the opening |
Fairchild Equipment has celebrated the grand opening of its new southern division in Menomonee Falls, WI. The company hosted over a dozen of its vendors, held a brief commencement with distinguished guests from the community, and supported the attendance of over 200 customers throughout the day.
The new facility marks a growth milestone for the multi-brand dealer which sells and hires forklifts, boomlifts and aerial platforms from Genie, Hyster, JLG and Yale.
"Fairchild as a whole has nearly tripled in size over the last five years, and we are committed to mirroring this growth trajectory here in southern Wisconsin and the five counties we serve surrounding Rockford, IL," says Van Clarkson, president of Fairchild Equipment's southern division.
"In our first six months since the acquisition, we've experienced over 30% growth specifically here in southern Wisconsin, and have invested in people, systems and facilities to support this growth."
In January, Fairchild Equipment Inc opened a Menomonee Falls branch and acquired the assets of MEE Material Handling LLC and Schmidt Industrial Truck Service Inc
(FLA #700).
"We continue to heavily recruit quality people that fit in with our ... 'customer-obsessed' family, and will be breaking ground within the next nine months to more than double our current footprint here in Menomonee Falls," he adds.
Fairchild Equipment was founded in 1985 as Yale Materials Handling. Under the leadership of Gary Fairchild, the dealership diversified its manufacturers to add other trusted brands and expanded its service areas in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Upper Michigan and Northern Illinois.
Fairchild employs more than 200 staff.
