Long-standing RTITB-accredited partner Barry Training Services (BTS) is celebrating 25 years of delivering RTITB training to the workplace transport industry.

The company has grown from modest beginnings, offering RTITB-accredited forklift training and now offering a vast range of courses including RTITB Driver CPC, amongst others.

"We have been delivering Health and Safety Training to the industry for 25 years this year - this is a proud moment for us as a company that takes safety very seriously," says Deborah Boyle of BTS. "We strive to continually meet the demands of the industry, providing the best level of service and training possible."

Based in Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan, BTS operates across mainland UK and other EC states including the Republic of Ireland, Holland, Denmark, Poland, Germany, Spain, Croatia and Turkey.

The company employs 25 staff members between two training centres in South Wales, a head office in Barry and a satellite centre in Baglan, Port Talbot. Both of the training centres deliver RTITB Lift Truck Training and other training courses.
BTS recently expanded its services to provide foreign language instruction. A Polish RTITB-registered instructor and a Polish admin assistant enable the company to deliver its range of courses in Polish.

RTITB has acknowledged the landmark in its relationship with the training provider. "Enjoying strong partnerships with our accredited training providers is very important to RTITB and we are proud to be celebrating 25 years with Barry Training Services, (which) has made an outstanding contribution to safety over the years," says RTITB managing director Laura Nelson.

RTITB (formerly the Road Transport Industry Training Board) has been involved in training in the transport, warehousing and logistics industries for over 40 years.
