Hubtex launches compact truck

Hubtex has introduced the SQ 40 compact reach truck. It has a load-bearing capacity of 4 T, with a 600 mm (23 in.) load centre. The manufacturer claims the truck "achieves considerably higher load-bearing capacities than conventional reach trucks but with the same working aisle widths".
Hubtex says it started developing the SQ 40 last year to meet customer and market needs. The company aimed to achieve high capacities in combination with high load centres, while maintaining compact dimensions.
"For us, the SQ 40 is the right vehicle at the right time," says Lars Beuel, sales manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. "It means we can now respond positively to requests that we would previously have had to turn down." Due to the increased demand in this market segment, Hubtex is expecting significant demand for the new model.

Glacier Computer has launched the T810 Tablet, which it claims has enhanced rugged specifications.
The T810 rugged tablet is completely sealed from dust and particulates and is drop tested to 6 ft. (1.8 m) on concrete. It has a 10.4 in. (264 mm) touch screen display, up to 128 GB of storage, 4 GB of memory, and an Intel Atom dual core processor. With up to nine hours of battery life, plenty of input/output and wireless options and both desktop and vehicle docking options, Glacier touts the T810 as "the managing resource for all data collection activities".

Konecranes enhances portfolio

Konecranes has added an upgraded version of the CLX chain hoist crane to its industrial crane portfolio. The new generation CLX overhead crane is mainly intended for basic, low-capacity lifting needs. The lifting capacity of the crane ranges from 500 kg (1,102 lb.) up to 5 T.
The crane hoist boasts durable components and technical features that allow for hard use of the crane, but at the same time smooth and accurate load handling. The CLX chain hoist is provided with a compact full aluminum frame, the design of which allows easy access for maintenance.
According to Konecranes, the upgraded CLX chain hoist crane is gradually being introduced into the market.
