German forklift producer Hubtex has acquired 100% of German AGV and special-purpose materials handling equipment manufacturer, Münsingen-based Genkinger.

Hubtex states that the acquisition strengthens “its position as a leading international supplier of custom-made industrial trucks, multidirectional side-loaders and special equipment”.

Genkinger will be added to the Hubtex Group of companies which includes Hubtex in Maschinenbau in Fulda, DIMOS Maschinenbau GmbH in Fulda-Petersberg, stabau GmbH in Meschede and various subsidiaries abroad.

“Genkinger brings more than 100 years of expertise and thus comprehensive know-how about tailor-made special solutions - a strong gain for the entire group,” Hubtex states.

Hans-Joachim Finger, Managing Director of the Hubtex Group adds: "With the integration of Genkinger into the Hubtex Group, we are taking an important step towards international expansion and can bundle our expertise in the field of industrial trucks, special vehicles and special attachments even better”.

Hubtex Group managing director Marco Goldbach explains the jobs of skilled workers will be maintained at each site.

Genkinger says it will continue to exist as an independent brand and will continue to appear with the well-known brand logo.

"The cooperation between Genkinger and Hubtex opens up new opportunities for innovative solutions and technological developments,” Genkinger managing director Richard Ludwig continues.

Words of support …

After advertising with Forkliftaction.com, we got many enquiries regarding interest to be our distributor. Mostly from Europe and USA but including a few in ASEAN. We feel that the advertisement was useful and good for market expansion.
