Flexi trucks support NATO's work in Kosovo.

Flexi Narrow Aisle has supplied Flexi articulated forklifts to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO). The very narrow aisle trucks will be used to support NATO's ongoing efforts in Kosovo, where they will be used in NATO's facility in Pristina to handle the equipment and kit required to sustain the men and women of the Kosovo Security Force in their work.
Flexi trucks have also been in operation at logistics centres in Afghanistan for several years.

AUSA chooses Alfatech

AUSA has appointed Alfatech Ltd as its new importer for Ukraine.
Alfatech, headquartered in Dnepropetrovsk, recently won a contract for the maintenance of the cities of Dnepropetrovsk, Krivoy Rog, Dneprodzerzhinsk and Pavlograd in the Dnepropetrovsk region. Alfatech will be using a total of 11 Ausa Suction Sweepers B 200 H and B 400 H, in addition to one Multitask Vehicle M 350 H.

Entries for IFOY Award open 31 Oct

Logistics equipment and solutions providers are invited to submit entries for one of five awards for the second International Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY) Award.
The new categories this year are 'automated guided vehicles' for partially or fully automated vehicles and 'Intralogistics Solutions'.
Applicants for the award must register by midnight on 25 November 2013.
The IFOY Award 2014 will be presented on 19 May 2014 in Hannover during the CeMAT intralogistics fair.
