STILL GmbH and Turkish industrial truck dealer Arser İş Makineleri Servis ve Ticaret AŞ (Arser) are now operating in the Turkish market under the joint brand name of STILL ARSER.

The Hamburg-based forklift manufacturer has acquired a majority stake in its dealer. The contract was recently approved by local authorities after being signed in May 2013.

STILL now holds 51% of STILL ARSER shares, while Arser holds 49%.

Bert-Jan Knoef, chairman of the executive board of STILL GmbH, sees the majority stake as an important step in the international growth of the STILL brand. "The decision to take a stake together with the Arkas Group in our previous exclusive dealership Arser is a further expression of the resolute growth strategy of STILL."


Frank Schliesser, the CEO of STILL ARSER, will be responsible for STILL's business in Turkey. He previously managed STILL's worldwide dealer activities.

"With its population of 74 million, Turkey is already an important hub for European trade with the Middle East. I am convinced that the market there will continue its positive trend in the future," Schliesser says.
