German company Lenzing has expanded its materials handling equipment portfolio with Baoli forklifts.

The complete Baoli range, which comprises forklifts with internal combustion engines and electric motors and load capacities from 1-10 T, is now available for Lenzing customers and dealers.

"Baoli offers the right cost-performance ratio for many of our customers and dealers," says Marcus Kaninski, managing director of Lenzing. "For them the investment in premium trucks would not meet their demand because they need reliable, practical trucks.

"Before our decision to cooperate with Baoli, we talked to the distributor in the UK, who offers these trucks since 2005, and [they] emphasised [their] good experiences with them."

Baoli Forklift Europe general manager Rory Harvey-Kelly says the partnership is an important step forward for the Chinese brand as it develops its European distribution network.

"Baoli develops and manufactures its trucks in China, but fulfills all certifications for operations across Europe," Harvey-Kelly says.
