A fleet of 32 Hyster machines, including reach stackers, is operating at SA TALKE's Jubail site. |
Logistics service provider SA TALKE credits Hyster forklifts for enhancing efficiency and productivity and lowering operational costs at its Jubail, Saudi Arabia, site.
A fleet of 32 Hyster machines, including counterbalance forklifts and reach stackers, is used at Jubail for loading, picking, palletising, storing and transferring goods, and stacking containers.
Hyster H2.5FT Fortens LPG forklifts are used for container stuffing, while the same models fitted with push-pull attachments are used for palletising, loading and transferring goods.
The trucks help deliver lower operational costs through reduced tyre wear, due to electronically controlled DuraMatch transmissions and low-maintenance, oil-immersed brakes, Hyster says.
Ergonomic features, including comfortable, adjustable seats and armrests on the Fortens trucks, help enhance driver productivity.
Heavy-duty Hyster RS45-31CH reach stackers, offering "excellent visibility" through sliding cabs, support the container handling operations.
The contract's value is confidential.
